Ty is 4-years-old!

It has been a long time and I have 2 master assignments and boxes to pack, but needed a break, so here is Ty's 4 year old picture.

Mommy had these shirts made and we wanted to try to get a good picture of all of the boys wearing them. Here is a funny picture of Luc. Daddy has the big slugger shirt, but mommy did not want daddy in the picture.

The three boys

Luc, Ty, and Jack just chillin' on the rocker about three weeks ago. Sorry, but believe it or not, I have been busy the past few weeks.

2 months!

The twins were two months on July 26th! They are growing so fast too. Luc (left) is 10lbs 12oz and and 22.5in long and Jack (right) is 11lbs 3oz and 23.5 in long. Grandma Gillard took this awesome picture upnorth last weekend.

Ty asked if he could feed Jack, so we thought we would give him an opportunity. Looks like Ty knows what he is doing. Well, he did for about 30 seconds, then Daddy had to take over. But, Ty looked super cute while it lasted.

Of course, they nap during the day when we don't sleep. But, it has not been that bad at night. In fact, the twins are sleeping about 4 to 5 hours straight when we are sleeping.

Latest on the twins

Only 12 days to go! We had an ultrasound today and the twins are doing great and growing quickly. Baby A is 5 1/2 pounds and Baby B is 6 1/2 pounds! Only one more week of work for poor Heather. You can do it mommy, you are the best!

Twins latest pics

The top picture is Baby A and if you look close you can see his profile. Nose, lips, chin, pretty cool. The next picture is Baby B. He has been hiding his face most of the pregnancy, but he already has more hair than Tom!!!! Only about a month or less away. Gotta run and get our sleep while we can! Baby A is approx. 4 lbs 1 oz and Baby B is approx. 5 lb 1 oz. Baby A is average and Baby B is big. Poor Heather.

I know I have been a Michigan fan for a long time, but over the years I have slowing been warning up to MSU. In fact, I own a few pieces of MSU clothing. Here is Ty supporting MSU and hopefully a National Championship. GO STATE!!!!!

Ty's new scooter

Here is Ty with his new scooter. He loves it. It took him about 9 months, but he earned it. He said that he wanted a scooter as soon as he pooped on the potty. His last two poops were in the potty! Congrats Ty!

Laser Tag

We went to Owen's 5th bitrhday party the next weekend after the Furkas birthday party, but this time we played laser tag. The vest was too heavy for Ty to wear, so I wore it and he was able to shoot with the laser.

Finally, a hair cut!

Ty needed a hair cut badly and I have been to scared to use the clippers. I thought it may be to short. But, it looks great and Ty sat like a big boy the entire time. No more nest on top of that head! Here are the before and after pictures.

Monster Truck!

Ty used his gift certificate to Ridemakerz that he got from Aunt Jenny, Uncle Jamie, and Alec. He built a monster truck and he loves it!

Fun in Cincinnati

We went to Cincinnati the weekend of Feb 14-15 and had a great time with Scott, Stacey, and Gavin. We went out to eat, to the Cincinnati Children's Museum, and had a great time. Thanks for all the fun Scott, Stacey, and Gavin!

Bull and Bruno

Ty loves GeoTrax and he needed just one more train to complete his set, Bull and Bruno. It looks like he really enjoyed opening this gift.

Christmas Vacation?

Here is a recap of our Christmas vacation. Ty doctor appointment, christmas eve at the Ciuffetelli's, Christmas day at the Gillard's, Gillard's Holiday party the day after Christmas, cousin's wedding two days after Christmas, gift exchange with Grandma and Grandpa Ciuffetelli and aunt Angie the next day, start painting Ty's room and take down Christmas stuff the next day, 2 doctor appointments for Heather the next day, finish painting Ty's room and go to Ikea to get bedroom stuff for Ty's room on New Years eve, finish Ty's room and get Ty's matress on New Years Day, Christmas returns and trip to Birch Run on Jan 2, Josh White Jr. concert and hang stuff on Ty's walls. So, I'm not complaining because I just loved doing all these things, but Heather and I have Saturday night and Sunday to rest up to go back to work. Wow, I am tired just writing this blog! Enjoy and have a happy new year!

Ty's new big boy room

Since the twins are coming soon, we thought we would move Ty's room. We got him a new bed, lockers, rug, and painted the room blue and silver (not for the Lions!!!), but for Knight and Sir John, his favorite GeoTrax train. Anyway, here are pictures of Ty's new room.

First Concert

Ty, mommy, daddy, Grandma and Grandpa Gillard attended the Josh White Jr. concert at the Penn in downtown Plymouth. It was Ty's first concert and he really enjoyed it.

Ty was really excited this year for Christmas. He is starting to understand. Santa ate all the cookies and drank all the milk. Ty enjoyed all his presents from Santa, he must have been a very good boy in 2008.
