Now that it is getting hot, the twins needed a shorter haircut. I already cut Ty's hair, so Heather wanted to to try on the twins. I was a little worried that they would not sit still, but both Luc and Jack did a great job. Of course I did a great job as well as you can see!

The twins were two months on July 26th! They are growing so fast too. Luc (left) is 10lbs 12oz and and 22.5in long and Jack (right) is 11lbs 3oz and 23.5 in long. Grandma Gillard took this awesome picture upnorth last weekend.

Only 12 days to go! We had an ultrasound today and the twins are doing great and growing quickly. Baby A is 5 1/2 pounds and Baby B is 6 1/2 pounds! Only one more week of work for poor Heather. You can do it mommy, you are the best!

He has been hiding his face most of the pregnancy, but he already has more hair than Tom!!!! Only about a month or less away. Gotta run and get our sleep while we can! Baby A is approx. 4 lbs 1 oz and Baby B is approx. 5 lb 1 oz. Baby A is average and Baby B is big. Poor Heather.

Here is a recap of our Christmas vacation. Ty doctor appointment, christmas eve at the Ciuffetelli's, Christmas day at the Gillard's, Gillard's Holiday party the day after Christmas, cousin's wedding two days after Christmas, gift exchange with Grandma and Grandpa Ciuffetelli and aunt Angie the next day, start painting Ty's room and take down Christmas stuff the next day, 2 doctor appointments for Heather the next day, finish painting Ty's room and go to Ikea to get bedroom stuff for Ty's room on New Years eve, finish Ty's room and get Ty's matress on New Years Day, Christmas returns and trip to Birch Run on Jan 2, Josh White Jr. concert and hang stuff on Ty's walls. So, I'm not complaining because I just loved doing all these things, but Heather and I have Saturday night and Sunday to rest up to go back to work. Wow, I am tired just writing this blog! Heather, Ty, and I went to the doctor today to find out the gender of the twins. If you look at the arrows on both pictures, they are pointing to a penis! That's right, two boys! Wow, I guess I am a man since all I can reproduce are boys. Anyway, we are a little sad that one is not a girl, but are happy we do not have to buy new clothes! Just kidding, well not really. Ty had a fun day. First Santa, then donuts, and finally sledding! This was Ty's first sledding experience and I caught it on video. We were in Grandma and Grandpa Gillard's backyard, just perfect for Ty.

The first photo is Christmas 2006, the second is Christmas 2007, and the third was today! Ty with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Three Cedars Farms in Northville, MI. Ty was not lying, he said he was going to smile and he did it. It only took 3 years, but it was well worth the wait.

Twins at 13 weeks now!

The twins are measuring at 13 weeks as of Thanksgiving. Ty was able to go to the doctor with us and see the ultrasound. It was awesome. We heard the heart beats, saw them moving, and even saw twin B put his/her thumb in him/her mouth. It is still too early to determine the gender of the twins, but as soon as we can, we want to find out. Twin A is 64mm long and twin B is 71mm long, so both are about 3 inches.

Well, looks like our family is about to grow by 67%. That's right, we are having twins! Here is the first ultrasound taken on November 4. Right now, Heather is about 9 weeks and the projected due date is June 4. The plus sign is right next to the bottom one and the top one is easy to see.

Gavin was cracking up when Ty was in the bath with him. They were both very dirty after they ate ice cream or should I say put ice cream all over eachother. We had a great time in Cincinnati and Ty had a ton of fun with his cousin Gavin.

Here is Ty jumping off the diving board at our pool party for my Wednesday night softball team. Every year we have a party after one of our games and Ty just loves the pool. He would only jump from the side of the pool, then built up enough courage to jump off the diving board. He did not want to leave after he realized how much fun jumping off the diving board is.
